ボーカリスト、そしてイラストレーターとして活動されているSHIKIさんのデザイン制作です。ゴシックなモチーフを用い、水彩画のような厚塗りのタッチで描かれる作品群は、ファンタジーと上品さが融合した独特の世界観を構築しています。ボーカリストを中心にした音楽活動でも、その美意識と凛とした歌声を生かし、ファンタジーに根ざした物語性やメッセージを持つ楽曲に、自身の声を重ねています。

イラストレーションの中で多用され、SHIKIさんの世界観を象徴するモチーフとして「薔薇」に着目し、これを象ったロゴを開発しました。単に言語化しやすいモチーフを起点とするだけでなく、一目見た時の直感やイラストレーションとの親和性など、細かな造形やレイアウトに至るまで徹底的な検証を重ねました。これにより、彼女の世界観のニュアンスをより深く表現することを目指しました。

This is the design work of SHIKI, who works as both a vocalist and illustrator. Employing Gothic motifs and rendered with a thick, impasto-like watercolor touch, her body of work constructs a unique worldview where fantasy and elegance converge. In her music activities centered around her role as a vocalist, she leverages her aesthetic sensibility and dignified singing voice, layering her vocals over songs imbued with narrative depth and messages rooted in fantasy.

Focusing on the rose—a motif frequently used in illustrations and symbolic of SHIKI's worldview—we developed a logo embodying this image. Rather than merely starting with a motif that was easy to verbalize, we conducted thorough verification down to the finest details of form and layout, considering factors like the initial intuitive impression and affinity with the illustrations. Through this process, we aimed to express the nuances of her worldview more profoundly.
